Paul mentions God’s wrath and says that God will judge the world. In this chapter Paul says that Jews and Gentiles have the same God because there is only one God. He declares that there is no righteousness for anyone in the world (Jews or Gentiles) outside of faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ provided by his own shed blood. Paul declares that this faith then upholds the law.

The situation for us today in 2015 is that man wants out from under the law. He wants to nullify the law so then he cannot be condemned or judged. He wants to do this by himself in his own way. He denies the authority of the Bible. He denies that God exists. He denies that he is a creation of God. He tries to set up his own rules and law to excuse himself from his sin. He says sin is only alive if it is considered sin, therefore, let’s change the definition of sin, let’s change what we consider a sin in our society.

The problem is… God’s word has gone out. It has been written in stone. Man does not have the power to nullify it. His only choice to escape judgment is to meet its’ requirements.
